In addition to financial donations, we are looking for:
- supplies for the Donation Stations (pretty baskets, analog scales, table cloths, sun umbrellas or pop-up tents, chalkboard easels)
Farmer Foodshare is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that can accept tax-deductible donations. We accept donations of fresh local food, cash to buy food, or other donations of goods and services, and can provide tax deductible receipts.
We are committed to 100% transparency and accountability in all of our operations. If you have any questions about donations, our work or programs, or just like nitty gritty financials, please email info@farmerfoodshare.org. You may download our latest IRS Form 990. We are also listed on GuideStar.
NOTE: ALL of the money raised at the farmers markets (i.e. basket cash) goes directly (100%) to buy food at that farmers market for the agencies that are served by that farmers market. NO money raised at farmers markets goes to general operations. It all goes to local food for local need.
