The Farmer Foodshare Family is growing

Cobblestone Farmers Market

We are excited to announce the launch of 2 new Donation Stations this month – Cobblestone Farmers Market in Winston Salem and Caswell Country Store Market in Semora, north of Hillsborough.

Cobblestone Farmers Market is located next to the Old Salem Museums and Gardens and will be open every Saturday through November from 9:00 a.m. – noon. The Donation Station at Cobblestone will be partnering with Wake Forest University’s Campus Kitchen, a non-profit that rescues and resources food leftover from on-campus dining into new meals for social service agencies in the Winston-Salem community. We are excited about this partnership and look forward to working with Margaret Norfleet Neff and the crew at Cobblestone.

Caswell Country Store Market is organized by the Caswell County Local Foods Council and will be partnering with Caswell Parish, who has agreed to help run the Donation Station taking fresh donations to their Mobile Food Pantry, which serves hungry families throughout the county. Their market will be led by Leslie Zimmerman, the market manager and held every Saturday from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and will feature arts, crafts, plants, and fresh vegetables and fruits.

Welcome to the Farmer Foosdshare Donation Station network, Cobblestone and Caswell County! We are grateful for the work that you are doing and look forward to a fruitful summer.
