We are so glad YOU want to help make fresh, local food available to all.

We have BIG dreams this year, and we can’t do it without you.
This spring, we are doubling down on our commitment to provide fresh, local, food for all – and we need your support to do it!  Your donation means we can achieve our goals this year of…
– Supporting 45 local, family-scale farmers through our wholesale market & local food hub
– Creating over $.5 Million in sales for their farms, circulating back through our local economy
– ALSO seeing that food distributed equitably, with 540,000 lbs. contributed to the emergency food system
– Launching our first-ever Farmer Minigrants program, aiming to support historically excluded producers such as women-owned and BIPOC-owned farms.

The importance of an equitable and resilient local food system has never been more apparent; and our Farmer Foodshare mission to provide fresh, local food for all has never been more important.

With YOUR support, we can continue connecting food insecure families and individuals to vibrant, healthy food grown by North Carolina family farmers AND help those small, local farmers grow their businesses.

Thank you!

Donor Advised Funds

A donor-advised fund, or DAF, is a giving vehicle established at a public charity and allows charitable contributions. With a DAF, you will receive an immediate tax deduction and then recommend grants from the fund over time.

You can support access to fresh food by directing gifts to Farmer Foodshare through your donor-advised fund. Use the DAFDirect widget below to select your DAF charity and then the amount you would like to direct to Farmer Foodshare. If your fund is not listed in the widget, simply choose Farmer Foodshare as the charity of choice when directing a donation.
