Julie Malloy joined the Farmer Foodshare Board of Directors in June 2026.

A retired technology sales and marketing executive, Julie spent more than three decades at Intel Corporation leading global teams and driving strategic initiatives across partner marketing, investment program design, and stakeholder engagement. She now brings this depth of experience to the nonprofit sector, with a focus on strengthening mission-driven organizations, building meaningful partnerships, and translating strategy into measurable community impact.

Julie has called the Triangle home for more than 25 years. Alongside her husband, Stephen, she raised three children with a deep appreciation for community, service, and the value of locally sourced food. An avid home cook, Julie is a long-time supporter of local farmers and food systems, regularly sourcing local meat and produce for her family and embracing the belief that strong communities are rooted in access to fresh, nutritious food.

She is actively engaged in the community through ministries at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill, Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, and her role on the board of A Doorway to Hope in Cary.

As a recent colon cancer survivor, Julie also brings a deeply personal perspective on the connection between nutrition and health. Her lived experience informs her commitment to patient advocacy and her belief in food as medicine—an outlook she is proud to bring to Farmer Foodshare’s mission.
