Before Farmer Foodshare became what it is today, we started out as Donation Stations at Triangle-area farmers markets.

As Farmer Foodshare has grown and shifted towards agriculture distribution, we’ve known that Donation Stations needed to be in the hands of another organization, and we couldn’t be happier to see it carried forward through NC State Extension.

We are so proud of this program, and it’s wonderful to see the program become even greater under the care of every collaborator that’s helped Donation Stations become such a fruitful resource for NC farmers and families. We are grateful it has a forever home with NC State Department of Agricultural and Human Sciences.
