Pam has been a Board member and Chair of the Governance Committee and Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) committee during her 4 years as a supporter of Farmer Foodshare. Prior to joining Pam was a volunteer as well. She, along with her husband, Patrick Mann homestead on White Swan Farm & Forge in Cedar Grove, NC growing vegetables as organic, and raising animals and donating as much food as we can, and selling at local farmers markets.  Dr. Schwingl received her PhD in Epidemiology from University of North Carolina, and has worked primarily in support of federal government public health research, including work as a senior scientist on the National Toxicology Program’s Report on Carcinogens and as a project manager for several large epidemiologic studies sponsored by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. She is an avid supporter of local small farmers and has a particular interest in the flourishing of a multicultural small farm community.
